Trip to Asia

A few years ago, Sam and I visited Tibet and Nepal on a trip to Asia. Both regions were spectacular. We took a 45-hour train ride from Beijing to Lhasa. We saw countless Tibetan monasteries, monks, prayer flags, mountain passes, yaks, etc. After a few weeks, we arrived in Kathmandu, where it was monsoon season. The rain didn’t stop us from doing a 4-day trek on the Annapurna Circuit in the Himalayas. At the tail end of the trip, we had a full day layover in Hong Kong on our way back to San Francisco.

Shortly after the trip, I made a composite video of clips taken throughout the journey. I was reminded of the video the other day, when thinking about Vine, a new video sharing app that allows assembling multiple, quick scenes into one 6-second clip. The video posted below is 5 minutes long, but it certainly reminds me of some of the clips I’ve seen on Vine recently. Consider it my version of a pre-Vine. Enjoy!
